James (Jay) A. Wells concentrates his practice exclusively in whistleblower law, and has extensive experience representing whistleblowers in qui tam actions across the country. He has represented whistleblowers exposing fraud in a variety of industries, including health care, government contracts and pharmaceuticals, and whistleblowers exposing tax and financial fraud. He has worked with scores of whistleblowers to analyze their claims, and determine the most effective ways to stop the fraud and maximize their recovery.
Jay has dedicated his career to representing individuals and plaintiffs. After his start as a public defender in Philadelphia, he worked at several prominent law firms representing employees when employers violated their rights. He has also represented groups of workers in class action employment discrimination and wage theft claims. By representing whistleblowers at KTMC, he continues his commitment to helping individuals achieve justice.
